BEMBRIDGE FORT GUIDED TOURS 2012
 
 
Situated on the top of Bembridge Down, this fort shares its history with the Needles Old Battery. Part is occupied by an industrial tenant and the remainder, which is in a derelict condition, is gradually being cleared and restored by a small group of volunteers and is not generally open to the public. However guided tours are available.
 

TOUR DATES
Tours take place during the afternoon of the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays in each month between April and October with additional tours being held in August.
 
 
Tours, which last approximately 1.5 hours are conducted by volunteer guides and in 2012 tours will cost £3.50 per person (including National Trust members).
 
Please note:
  • PLACES ARE LIMITED AND MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE.
  • Tours are not suitable for children under the age of 10.
  • There are many uneven surfaces and some steep steps.
  • There is no WC at the fort.

It may be possible to provide additional tours for private groups of 10+  on request.
